New Calling- Young Womens
CRAZY!! I am the 2nd Counselor so I am over the Beehives. I have already taught a lesson to them and I think I am going to like it. I haven't had a chance to get to know the girls yet, but I will soon enough. Wednesdays are our activities night so PLEASE everyone tell me your favorite activity you remember or some ideas. We are hiking the Grotto Trail tomorrow with the young men, so that should be tons of fun. It's really crazy that I am old enough to be there leader- I don't feel that old yet. I feel like I should still be in young women's. Don't you remember thinking that your leaders were old?!? I sure do. AHAHAHA! Any who it should be fun- I am thinking about taking pictures and videos of the activities and making it into a DVD for the girls at the end of the year. I think that would be fun. So WISH me LUCK. I am going to need it.

Congrats! I have that exact same calling and I can tell you - you will LOVE it!!! Beehives are so great! A little wild, but wonderful! My advice would be to first - start and activily work on the Personal Progress program yourself. I have almost earned my medallion again, and actually doing the program has really help me understand and love the program and has really really helped me to motivate the girls to do it too! It's so fun and rewarding!
I'll think about some of our more successful and fun activities and let you know! You are going to LOVE this!!!! =D
How fun! I was just in YW when we were in California, and I miss it. It makes me feel young. I miss you too, I don't know when we will be in Utah next but when we make it over there I will for sure come by and see ya. Take care Tell everyone Hi!!!
