Battle Wound

Yes I have the worst luck. This is the same foot my toenail was riped off. This is a problem for me-we are on the beach everyday all day- so sand gets inside my hurt heal. LAME! when I put my flippers on it rubs my heal raw. Yes I fell, and had a dead heal for the longest time, I felt like I could not walk for the longest time. It dosen't look to bad, but believe me-it's a killer. Okay just had to show everyone my wound. So you could all feel bad for me. Okay love you!

Hawaii!!

This is a beautiful beach picture. We will not be taking very many beach pictures. So I had to crop this one. But the beach is really fun, HOT, and just breath taking. I will get more pictures before we go swim (not after). Flowers grow everywhere. They are so pretty, the trees, bushes, everything has flowers on them. All different colors. We are having a blast. Yes, my forehead is fried, it's very shinney. I am getting a lot of color, I am tring to remember to put sunscreen on every hour, it's so HOT!! We went snorkling today, we saw a lot of neat fish. I was out for a while, until I sucked in the ocean-then that was it for me. SICK! So we are going to go hiking to waterfalls one of these days. I am looking forward to that. Okay love and miss you all.

Our first day in Hawaii!! This was at night-we ate at a very fancy place- called mama's fish house. Wow! it was different. Each plate cost around 50.00-60.00 at plate. Kendra's parents bought our meal. That was soooo nice. Today we are getting ready to head to the beach. So I am really excited about that. Our plane ride was long-on the way to Hawaii we had the seats that could not lean back. So it was a long flight! LAME!! We went swimming last night- I am in Hawaii!! I can't believe it. So I am going to go play at the beach. I will see you all later. Love you all so much!

Wishing I was somewhere else!

MAUI/OAHU


So today I am sitting at work-thinking I only have 2 more days until I leave for Hawaii. I just can't get myself to work anymore. I have known about this trip (it seems like forever) for such a long time- I can't wait anymore. A lot of people from work have been to Hawaii, and they all feel the need to tell me things I have to do while I am there. So some of the fun things people have said are.

While I am in Maui:

1. Haleakala Downhill Bicycle Guided Day Journey (Bike)
Maui, Hawaii- A bike ride down the volcano- they drive you to the top and you cruze down the volcano on bikes. (FUN!) I have a feeling that I would go flying off the volcano somehow. But I guess we will see if we do it.

2. Snorkling- which I am really excited about-I have my own snorkel gear-I can't wait to use. I got it for my birthday in February.

3. OOH I can't remember everything it was so much.

4.Aloha Special Horseback Tour (Horseback Riding)-Horse's- Yeah- I don't think so (maybe)

While I am in Oahu:

1.Polynesian Cultural Center- This is a must for me- I think this will be tons of fun.

2.Pearl Harbor

3.What ever else-We are going down to have a great time at the beach and do what ever we want. So I can't wait.

So anyways in a few day's from now I will be posting Hawaii pictures for you all to see. I can't wait to go. But I guess I need to get back to work. YEAH HAWAII!!

Dancing Sunday

The Kids love to dance on Sunday's and they have a great time doing it. Michelle is so good to play for them so they can get out of control. They are so cute!

Here are all the cute babes. I love them all. But since I don't have kids I guess I will show off everyone elses. They are soooo dang fun and I love to be with them all. I can't wait for more to come around. Yeah-for little kids, they are so much joy in my life, I love them all and the best things about being the aunt they all love me. So this is a great day for all the littles in my family.

This is Rachelle Frost's little girl-Danielle-she is so cute. She was so funny when I pulled my camera out she started posing. So this is a cute picture of her. I wish I got the back of her hair it was in 2 pig tails. She is a babe.

Four-Wheeling around the house

The other day while Kristy and Mom where cleaning out the garage I took Hanna around the block. Everytime we would get back to the house Hanna would say "I need take a break" so she would set in her chair and take a little break. How cute is that? She had a lot of fun, and so did I.

How my day is going.

So I have not blogged for a while- but today I just thought I would tell you about how my day is going. So for starters I am getting excited to go on my trip. I have a week left before I go. I have know about this trip for so long-that it seems crazy that I am leaving in a week! YEAH!! All I know is when I get back I am going to be up to my eyeballs in work. I have been really busy with work latley- I am doing a new project at work it's called ACC-National Cardiovascular Data Registry (Data collection) SICK!!! I am forever going to be collecting data for all Diagnositc, PCI, and ICD pt's. This is endless work. I have quarters that it has to be submitted-but it's never going to end. I love my job- it's just staring at a computer all day get's kind-of old. Anyways on the bright side of things-I have helped the hospital receive a huge amount of money for all the reports that I have submitted. So I guess that is always rewarding. But enough about work-I am tring to get ready for my trip- I have been tanning- yeah tanning and me do not go together. Bless my heart I burn every time. So just wish me luck in Hawaii- sunscreen every hour. O-Well I will be in Hawaii for 10 days. So I guess that is not that big of a deal. Okay- I guess that is it for now- have a great day!

My new Cell Phone

I am really kind-of excited about my new cell phone. I just ordered it and I think I am going to love it. It is part MP3 player and phone, so I can down load all my songs onto it. Yeah for my new phone!!

This picture you couldn't see it very well. But it's crazy look at her toes-they are wrapped around to the bottom of her foot. That hurt's!

I was e-mailed these pictures and I thought of the book going around the one everyone is reading. I have not read it yet but I really want to. But this is terrible, it's crazy to think that they went through all the pain just to have small feet. So I am very greatful to have my size 9 feet!

Interview Questions from Kendra

1. What would you call the PERFECT first date?
UM! This is a hard one- the perfect date would have to be a romantic dinner, with candle light, music in the back ground, a waiter to just appears at your table to fill your drinks and give you your food. Share each others meals by feeding it to each other. (make sure you don't droll) then you take a stroll along a path with a lighted path-with music playing softly- and we are able to dance looking into each others eyes. And he goes in for the first kiss....would this ever happen? probley not- so I will settle for a dinner and a fun game night. You staying up just talking and laughing. I think that is good enough for me. :)

2. What is your favorite part about working in the cath lab?
This is a good question- because I love working in the cath lab because of all the crazy guys I work with. They are so funny they keep me on my toes. They love to tease me and I tell you what I love it when they do. They are just a great bunch of people and I love the fact that is it mostly men. That is the best! p.s. they are all married. So I can be myself and not have to worry if I am going to act like a idiot. so i love it!

3. What do you want to do most when we go to Hawaii?
I don't know- just to go to Hawaii sound great to me. I would like to go to the beach- and hopefully not get fried. I want to just have a fun time- and be with me favorite people!

4. What is your most favorite restaurant and what do you like to eat there?
I love food! What can I say-I usually find my favorite thing in every place I go. So I am not picky with restaurant food. I love to eat!

5. What is the best book you've ever read? and why?
This one is hard, because I LOVE to read- I read everything and anything. I go through books pretty fast- so I would have to say that I really like the author Sophie Kinsella "The Undomestic Goddess" I love British humor I think it is so silly! I have read this book about 3 times so I would say that I really like it. Every time I read it I laugh like I haven't read it before. So anyone who has not read it needs to read it. I think that you would like it!

Hello-I have this friend who told me that they can tell a lot about a person by seeing there room. So here are pictures of my room. Can you tell more about me by looking at pictures of my room? Anyways, I love my green wall! It is soooo cute, the frames have pictures of Kristy's kids and Michelle's kids- I am waiting for Kent's baby to be born to get a picture of it in the middle frame. The picture on the white wall, Marissa made that for me for Valentines day and it's so cute. I need an updated picutre for my frame. But my cow I got from Build a Bear- That was fun for me. I can't get enough of Anne Frank- at such a young age-it's amazing how she could tell her story and to have people around the world read about her hiding place. This book makes me think about a lot of things going on in my life. I hope everyone can take the time to read her story!

Summer Biking

I bought this bike the end of last summer, so I am really excited to ride this summer. Here are five tips for a 1st ride with a new rider (That would be me):

1. The Goal is that your friend has a great time and wants to stick with bicycling.

2. Fun more than fitness. Your friend will likely want a comforable experience more than a high-intensity workout. Start slow, be conscious of the exertion level and end before the friend is tired.

3. Smart route. Plan roads/trails with light traffic, and a minimum of starts, stops and busy intersections. If your route has traffic, ride it in the direction with mostly right turns.

4. Destinations are good. Unlike "cyclists", most people like to go somewhere and stop- cafes, ice cream stores, parks, etc. This gives a feeling of accomplishment as well as a few minutes to rest.

5. No Lycra. Instead of tight shorts and bright jersey, try baggy shorts and a t-shirt.
