GETTING WAXED - VS - SHAVING
I have had a few of my friends tell me that half love to get waxed and the other half would only shave. I have been thinking about this for awhile deciding if I am going to make my appointment to have my legs waxed.
I have waxed my own legs before and it was not the best thing ever, but I think it would be different if someone else did it for me.
1. It hurts
2. I wont have to shave for a month
3. I have 6 feet long legs...that's a lot of leg to wax
4. I don't have to shave.
So I was just wondering if anyone else out there thinks waxing is good or bad?!? I think I will make my appointment and we will see if I keep it or not. Wish me luck!

Agh!!! Melynda - that is so dang funny! WHAT a dilemma! hahaha. I couldn't imagine having someone else wax my legs - I think that would make me really uncomfortable ... and yet, I am so dam SICK of shaving my own legs every other day or so - I could scream. So ... I think you should go for it. Long legs would be hell to shave too (at least my legs are short) ... waxing would be easier. Does it really last a month?
Do you have to let it grow to a certain length before they can wax? Laser hair removal - maybe I should look into that as a profession! - Kent
All I know is..when we did it that one time..it HURT! and that sort of turned me off to the whole waxing my legs thing..but I don't know..I also never thought I would try Yoga again after watching you inhale your hair trying to bend over in half (I'm almost peeing my pants right now with this visual) becuse we were too dumb to realize the lady was doing 'advanced' yoga and then..well lets just say..neither of us could eat chicken again for a long time!!!
Kent- Yes you have to let your leg hair grow. And I don't really have a problem with that because I only shave like once a week if that. And I am getting so sick of the long hair look. :) I made my appointment let see if I keep it.
Lex-HAHAHAHAHAH!! I am dieing right now. That was so dang funny! I can't believe we did that. I totally throw up and laugh so hard about it. We are so funny! I can't stop laughing. That is a great story!
Michelle- They say it does. So let's hope. I think that if I already don't shave then I don't think it will be a problem for me to wait. I just want the hair GONE!!!
Your crazy! I would NEVER do that! Plus what do you wear when you do something like that?!
Holly SH.. I have done it and it was the worse thing ever hurt like crap infact I only could do one leg it hurt so bad. and the waxed one out last the other by like a week or 2!
